Q. M. I. Presents
  21st Century Mysticism
and there is none else
by Carl O. Johnson, Church of Ontology
Ontology is an exact science. You have all intelligence now, and all power. But until you believe this to be true, you will divide your thinking between the constructive and the negative, until the negative vanishes altoether. While you are going through this experience, symbolized by the forty years in the wilderness, you must be "faithful over a few things," in order that you may be "Master over many." Therefore the revelations contained in these lessons must be accepted wholly, and without reservations. And they must be applied literally and actually as stated. You must think exactly as directed, on all points. And you must create a new heaven and a new earth in the new six days and the new sabbath. You cannot solve a problem in mathematics, unless you obey the rule. You cannot transmute coal into nylon in chemistry, unless you obey the formula. Neither can you solve a single problem in Ontology, unless you think the thoughts which Ontology prescribes.
It is your "old" thoughts that have separated you from the One Being, and made you a "small speck in a large universe." Ontology changes all this and makes you the only Being there is, greater than the universe, and embracing and surrounding the universe in all things.
The Bible is not a "material book" written by physical "people." And at no time does it deal with physical people. At no point does the Bible refer to material places, nor conditions. Neither is it a history or resume of human experiences. The Bible has been written exclusively by You, for You, through "writers" which you have created and empowered with intelligence. And the Bible deals wholly with Ideas and Beliefs, and their manifestations. Thus, because there is only ONE Mind and One Being, You play the "title role" of every character and every place and every experience enumerated in the Bible. For example You play the role of Adam when you believe the earth is material, peopled with human beings and filled with material things. And You play the role of Moses when you perceive material beliefs are illusionary and enslaving, and when you determine to liberate your thoughts from bondage and lead them into the promised land. You may have heard many explanations of God, but there is only one true definition. God is Your Mind. To avoid confusion, I will call this Mind Intrinsic Mind, or Constructive Mind.
You Are Born Anew
You never at any point have more than one mind! Your viewpoint determines whether that mind is extrinsic or Intrinsic, human or divine. You can have only one Mind but you have the power to choose which of the two minds shall be yours. But whichever of the two minds you have, it is God to you. Your mind is the all-inclusive, undisputed dictator of your world.
The various mental and spiritual steps that must be taken before you can "know yourself." These steps are three-fold:
1. You must die.
2. You must be resurrected.
3. You must be lifted up.
Or, let me put the "three steps" in another way:
1. Be converted.
2. Become as a little child.
3. Be born anew and baptized.
These steps or these processes have nothing to do with materiality conditions or physical people. Your mind is the "story," the "story writer," the "scenery," the "producer," the "director," the "actor" and the "audience."
Thus, you become converted when you turn from a material standpoint to a spiritual standpoint. Hence, to be converted means to turn from matter to mind and change your basis of thought.
To be born anew is also a mental process.
And the "baptism" requires that you accept the idea that you are born of God --- Mind. You are the "I AM THAT I AM." (Exodus 3:14) Everything you have ever done, you have done in the "first person."
"Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven." (John 6:32)
"Do not err... every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and cometh down from the Father of Lights (Axiomatic Illumination) with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." James 2:17.
Truth is a gift that comes directly to You from God -- your Mind -- truth cannot be monopolized, bought, or sold. It belongs only to you, and to your thoughts, and it cannot be taken from you. The multiplication table is like that. No human person can take credit for it. It is free. It is yours. It is inexhaustible. the more you use it, the more you have of it. Since only Intrinsic Mind has the power to think, the term Constructive Thinking, means "God's Thinking." It means thinking that proceeds from a Source that is eternal, perfect, unchanging, indestructible and altogether good.
I am the cause and the effect of my own thoughts. My nature is pure and holy. My thoughts are healthy and happy and I am conscious of harmonious state of being. My thoughts love and comfort each other. I give eternal life to my thoughts, and feed them abundantly of my own substance. All my thoughts are in perfect agreement in one place. I direct and guide my thoughts rightly and wisely. For I am the Creator, and the creation; and the Governor, and the government, of my own universe for ever and ever.
In other words, You are the Creator of the universe. (The word, "universe," means "To make into one.") Thus, your purpose and objective in reaching out for Ontology, is to gain the realization of your supreme Power -- your absolute dominion over all things. To gain this realization, you must undergo a radical change of thought. In other words, you must "be born anew." You must be transformed by the renewing of your mind. You must be baptized and converted. You must be crucified and rise again. You must ascend into heaven and you must return to the earth.
You must obey every command in the Bible. You must give the first fruits of all your increase to the Lord (Ten per cent of your income).
All of these steps will take place in your Thought only-- in your conscious sphere of awareness, -- known in Bible language as "heaven." You will accomplish this exhaustive, thorough transformation of your base of thought, through a new understanding of the six days of creation, and of the "sabbath day." It is in these six days that you will make for yourself a "new heaven and a new earth that passeth not away."
Assume A Virtue
You Are The Only Being.
"And God spake all these words saying that I am the Lord thy God which have brought thee out of the Land of Egypt, out of the House of Bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me." Exodus 20:1-3
"Land of Egypt" is your body. This body is "the house of bondage." Believing that you have a mind in a body "imprisons" your thoughts. Hence, your extrinsic thoughts have been confined in "Egypt."
Make No Outlines
"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness that is in heaven above or that is in the earth beneath or that is in the water under the earth: thou shalt not bow down thyself to them nor serve them: For I, the Lord am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the Fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generations for them that hate me; and showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments." -- Exodus 20: 4-5
"Heaven" means concept and the sum total of all ideas
Earth is manifestation, also consisting of thoughts.
"Water," whether in earth, or under or above the earth, is also thought.
The moment you make outlines you have separated yourself from the ONE Being from yourself. The first the false belief of separating yourself from God makes the second false belief that there are also "other beings" who are separated from God and from you. From then on the "vicious cycle" begins, until you have a whole "world" full of lies and counter-lies.
Six Days Shalt Thou Labor
"But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; into which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up." (II. Peter 3:10)
The "Day of the Lord" is not like any "day" shown on the calendar. It is a "New Day" which is about to be revealed to you; a "Day" in which you will create a new heaven and a new earth.
No one but You knows when this "Day of the Lord" comes. It comes silently, unobtrusively and unannounced, like a "thief in the night." But You will know when the "Day" comes, for it is your Mind that is making it appear.
Before the New Day can appear, the old heaven and the old earth must be destroyed. The old heavens are the false concepts made by the human mind. The old earth is the manifestations of the mental pictures cognized by the human senses. These false concepts and manifestations will vanish as if subjected to "fervent heat" when Intrinsic Thoughts drive out and replace negative thoughts. Imagine that you re at this point of progress now. And then imagine that you are at the beginning of the creation of the new heaven and the new earth, as depicted in Genesis 1.
To start with, you need a new "day" and a new "week." Everything is New. You are a "new creature" and all your thoughts are new.
Now, imagine that the old heaven and earth have been destroyed and are no more. Imagine, too, that you have no recollection of them. "For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered nor come into mind." (Isaiah 65:17)
This is important! The "memory" of the old earth and all the history and recordings of a "past" must be eliminated with the old heavens and earth.
You are now ready for the "first day." The "creation of new heavens and earth" consists of three distinct steps for each idea and manifestation. 1. Perception. 2. Declaration. 3. Realization. In other words, You must "see" the idea. You must "speak" the word. You must "realize" that the work is finished.
You now begin by realizing that you are Mind, without body. You realize that you are Consciousness, and that this Consciousness is You. You declare: "I am perfect, infinite Mind. I have created every concept and I have manifested every concept. There is no Mind but me."
You are now conscious of being conscious, but since your concepts are without form and void, that is, not having any outline, and not being inhabited with people, animals and things, your concepts look rather dark and indistinct to you.
So you speak the first creative command:
"Let there be light." That is, "Let there be wisdom and understanding, in order that I may perceive these concept and comprehend them. And therre is wisdom and understanding. And I see that it is good. And I call this Wisdom Day. And the absence of this Wisdom I call Night." This concludes the "first day."
You are now ready for the second day.
So you imagine again that you are Pure Consciousness. You imagine that you re the Creator of Thoughts. You speak to your thoughts, "Look unto me, all my thoughts. For I am perfect Mind, the Creator of all concepts. There is no Creator but me." (This declaration must be made every morning of the new days, in order to give you the right basis of thought.)
You now give the second creative command:
"Let there be established in the midst of my thoughts an "identification and Power Distribution Center," to enable me to identify all thoughts and to distinguish Constructive ideas from negative beliefs. And it is so. This completes the second day.
(Note; The "waters" which are under the "firmament," are "conscious" thoughts, or extrinsic thoughts. The "waters" which are above the firmament are true and real thoughts, not yet revealed to you.)
You are now ready to begin the third day. And you speak the third creative command:
"Let all my conscious thoughts be gathered into one place, (inside of my mind,) and let tangible conclusions appear." (A "tangible conclusion" is an idea which you can depend upon, one in which there is no doubt, as for example, two and two are four.) "These stabilized thoughts, which represent a unified tangible conclusion, I will call 'Earth,' and the conscious thoughts which are still fluctuating, or unsettled, I will call 'Seas.' And it is so."
(The third day and the sixth day, are the productive days in the series. The other four days are preparatory days.)
You now continue the third creative command:
"Let this tangible conclusion, which I call the new Earth, produce its own attributes of Certainty and Confidence for nourishment and inspiration, and let these attributes supply themselves, and maintain and perpetuate themselves. And it is so. And I see that it is good." This concludes the third day.
From now own, when you are meditating about the truth, or whenever you devote thought and effort to constructive thinking; Always think of "Day" as the Wisdom by which you understand that You are the creator of all concepts, and the period during which you contemplate perfect concepts and their manifestations. Also, Always think of "Night" as the lack of Divine Wisdom, and the period during which you entertain extrinsic thoughts.
Also, always think of "Heaven" as the Center of your thoughts. And think of "Earth" as your stabilized conscious thoughts.
The "six days of creation" and the "Lord's sabbath" must supersede and replace the "old week," beginning Now. These "six days, have nothing to do with a distant past, nor with a hazy future "beyond the grave."
During these "six days" you can only eat one kind of "food." This food consists of "every word which proceedeth from my mouth," meaning, the stabilized attributes of spiritual understanding, brought forth by the new "Earth."
Let Us Make Man
The last three "days" in the creation of your new heaven and earth, bring into view more Wisdom, coupled with government, life and action, and the creation of "man," made in your image and likeness.
Every day, being the "Lord's Day," must begin with the realization and declaration that "I am the only creator, the only Mind, all Good. I am the Only Being that ever was, or ever can be." (This declaration is necessary, because your "adversary," extrinsic mind, always challenges you and says: "I, the physical senses, made every concept and every manifestation"... the old heaven and the old earth.)
You now give the actual creative command for the fourth day:
"Let there be adequate Wisdom in the Identification Center (Heaven,) to separate Intrinsic Thoughts from extrinsic thoughts, and to serve as signposts, illustrations, platforms, and for periods of divine unfoldments. And let this Wisdom illuminate the Heaven and give enlightenment upon my tangible conclusions. And it is so."
"Thus, I have made two great 'lights,' the greater of these to rule over the Day, and to direct, guide and govern all unrevealed thoughts. (Intrinsic.) And the lesser 'light' to rule over the Night, and to direct, govern and guide all conscious thoughts upwards, out of themselves. And let there be other degrees of adequate Wisdom, (stars,) to enable me to evaluate, judge and decide over all suggestions, revelations and other attitudes of thought that may be presented for my consideration and acceptance. And I see that this Wisdom is good." This concludes the fourth day.
You are now ready to give the fifth creative command:
"Let my thoughts bring into full view, abundantly, every concept that moves about in the center of my consciousness. Ideas, large and small, in motion in the "Seas," and higher ideas that soar up into the very center of the Power Distribution House. And I see that my consciousness is filled with perfect concepts, limitless and beyond number, and I see that this abundant array of perfect concepts is good."
"You, my thoughts, are blessed beyond meassure. Now Be fruitful and multiply yourselves, both in the lower realm of conscious thoughts, and in the upper realms of soaring aspirations. And it is so." This concludes the fifth day.
You are now ready for the first creative command of the sixth day:
"Let my tangible Conclusions bring forth perfect attributes of their own kind; Stability, Security, Strength, Power, Permanence, Endurance, Wealth, Achievements great and small, Peace, Confidence, Joy, Health, and the like. And it is so."
You now utter the second creative command of the sixth day:
"Let there be man, in my own image and likeness, male and female, and let them have dominion over all conscious thoughts, and over all 'Tangible Conclusions,' and over everything that lives and moves in the 'Seas,' in the 'Air' and in the 'Earth.' And it is so."
"I bless you, and I direct you to be efficient managers and capable producers, and to multiply yourselves and replenish the attributes of stability and endurance upon the 'Earth,' and I direct you to control and govern all manifestations within my sphere of awareness and every manifestation that exists and moves within my thought. And it is so."
"And I have given you every attribute of stability and security, which is upon the whole face of my Tangible Conclusions, to nourish you and to support and sustain you, and to perpetuate my infinite creation of perfect ideas."
"And I see everything that I have made, and, behold, it is very good." And this concludes the sixth day.
You are now ready to begin the seventh day, and you speak thus:
"I am greatly please and delighted with the wonderful work which I have done in six days. The 'Heaven' is finished and all the host of it. And the 'Earth' is completed and every concept that is in the 'Earth.' Let the seventh day be consecrated and sanctified and made holy, that I may rest from my work in the seventh day."
You approach the "sabbath" with great reverence and with joy and thanksgiving, with a genuine feeling of contentment and bliss, realizing that all ideas are created and revealed and with the attitude of "Be still and know that I am God."
To "keep the Lord's sabbath" means to Stop Thinking. Yes, it means to conmpletely suspend all mental action. Not one thought must "work." Your consciousness must be absolutely still. But your capacity to perceive must remain wide awake. In other words, you must not go to sleep. Without forming words, or thoughts, you must inwardly experience a deep sense of joy, gratitude and satisfaction, which comes from knowing that all good work is finished.
If you are interrupted in "keeping the sabbath," or any other of the "six days," you simply take up where you left off, when the interruption is over, the same as you would do if you were interrupted at your desk, or in performing any "physical work."
Continue with the "sabbath" until you feel that it has accomplished its purpose. The longer the sabbath, the better.
Every sabbath that you keep with all your heart and with all your mind, will lead you up to a higher plane of thought. That is the sole purpose of the sabbath; To give you rest and relaxation, and to bring spiritual life and substance into view. Thus, when one sabbath is over, you are ready for "the first day of the week" again.
The first day of the week is always symbolic of your "ressurection," when you have rolled away "the stone" of material beliefs from your "grave."
"In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it." (Matthew 28:1-2)
This represents your most receptive thoughts. The "angel" shows you that you are not "buried" in a body, and "sits upon" the limiting beliefs that you can be "sealed in" with a "stone."
(Note that only You have power over both heaven and earth... concept and manifestation. You have given your "men" power over the earth, but not over heaven. You re the only Being who can ever be in heaven. No "man" can enter heaven. No "man" can ever know God. No "man" can ever be known of God.)
